The Ministry of Housing plans to establish a National Center for Housing Research and Data to provide a detailed picture of the Kingdom’s housing market, including its current status and the sector’s development, based on statistical data and periodic reports from various institutions.
In addition, as part of its projects for this year, the Ministry is expected to develop geographic information and surveying systems, with the goal of establishing an integrated geographic system to serve its branches. This will be carried out in three phases, The first phase includes the preparation, construction, operation, and establishment of the geographic information system; the second phase involves activating the system and expanding the database to include the Ministry’s land holdings, housing inventory data, and property characteristics; In the third phase, the database will be expanded to include data on the Ministry’s projects, as well as data on the implementation, tendering, monitoring, and supervision phases.
