Against the backdrop of Britain’s decision to leave the European Union, there were mixed reactions in the real estate market regarding the extent of the impact of leaving the European system, as British real estate has been a welcome haven for foreign capital. In the midst of this, the American Association of Realtors indicated that some wealthy individuals may wish to sell their properties in London and invest in the luxury real estate sector in the United States.
Property prices in Britain are currently trending downwards, with British Finance Minister George Osborne previously predicting that house prices in Britain would fall by between 10-18%.
