Jeddah Development and Urban Development Company offered owners in the Ruwais neighborhood in Jeddah, on which the Ruwais Development Project is being implemented on the ground, 5 options to choose one of them with the possibility of combining more than one option according to their financial conditions and decisions, where many owners preferred the first option of direct development, which is based on conditions and considerations, the most important of which is to form a legal personality for the owners wishing to develop, and the second option is to contribute to the development project in the event that the owner wishes to invest the value of the property and increase his investment returns, through the option of participation as a founding shareholder in the project company with the value of the project.
As a fourth option in the event that the owner wishes to receive cash compensation, the check will be processed within a maximum of ten days and property owners can combine the options described above, knowing that these options are addressed to all property owners, whether with legal instruments or any other ownership documents.

Shehata pointed out that the Ruwais development project has already started its implementation on the ground, where more than 30 properties were removed before Ramadan, stressing that property owners in any development project are the first people to benefit from the project, and owners have the right to be primary independent developers according to the flexible requirements that were announced earlier.
Shehata pointed out that there is a social support fund in the Ruwais development project that aims to deal with the special cases of owners whose estimates are not enough to own an alternative housing.
