Jazan Emirate issues a statement on compensation for the economic city west of Bish Governorate

Jazan Emirate confirmed that the compensation for the economic city west of Bish Governorate has received attention from HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz since the beginning of the project; directives were issued to form committees to inventory the properties of citizens and estimate appropriate and fair compensation for their lands.

The Emirate's assurances came in a statement issued by the Emirate, explaining that the findings and recommendations of the committee formed by the relevant ministries with the participation of the Economic Cities Authority have been submitted by the Ministry of Interior to the High Council, and approval was issued to adopt the mechanism agreed upon between the former developer and the affected citizens and those entitled to compensation whose lands are located within the boundaries of the economic city and to approve the settlement made between the two parties in this regard: 20.0pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif"; color: #55555555;">.

The statement added that citizens who claim ownership without official documents have been informed to apply to the competent courts, and those who have proven previous ownership covered by the site in the legal way will be compensated by the beneficiary entity (the General Investment Authority).
