The Pilgrims" Housing Committee in Makkah has finalized its arrangements to house more than 1.6 million pilgrims in various neighborhoods of Makkah, The chairman of the Pilgrims" Housing Committee in Makkah, Engineer Mazen Al-Sanari, confirmed that sufficient housing units are fully ready to accommodate the guests of Allah, noting that the number will increase in the coming weeks, as a number of requests from residential building owners—who were unable to submit their applications within the specified deadline for obtaining permits—have been forwarded to Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of the Makkah Region, and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committeefrom the committee on 30/7/1437 AH.

Engineer Al-Sanari emphasized the need for housing to be adapted to the weather conditions by providing adequate air conditioning and ventilation to ensure the comfort of pilgrims, noting that this is part of the requirements for residential buildings designated for their accommodation.

Al-Sanari explained that 18 centers for monitoring and inspection teams, in addition to 3 emergency teams, are ready to begin their work on the 10th of Dhu al-Qi’dah and will continue until the end of Dhu al-Hijjah, when the vast majority of guests of the House of God will departThis is to ensure proper performance and service in accordance with the directives of the Governor of the Makkah Region, as stipulated in the Executive Regulations for Pilgrim Housing and the safety and construction requirements for pilgrim accommodations.
