The Eastern Province Municipality recently launched the first batch of its investment opportunities in public tenders for 38 sites, and the Municipality directed through the Director General of the Investment Development Department, Engineer Ziad bin Abdulkarim Al-Suwaidan, that most of this batch is directed to the land transportation sector in the region.
Service investments and markets Suwaidan stressed that the General Department of Investment Development is currently preparing another set of investment opportunities that will be presented after Eid Al-Adha, which will include sites with different areas and activities, the most important of which are a community college, private schools, hospitals, marine clubs, multipurpose halls, gas stations, markets and other various activities, and this approach comes in implementation of the National Transformation Plan 2030 of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and its associated secretariats in engaging the private sector in providing services and increasing revenues to support the secretariat budget, and the General Department of Investment Development is coordinating with the committees Dedicated truck parking 32 sites ranging in size from 5,000 to 9,000 square meters dedicated to truck parking outside residential areas and on the edge of the city of Dammam, where the location of these plots is characterized by its view of the Dammam-Riyadh road, and also its proximity to the second industrial city and the industrial areas of the Municipality dedicated to mixers, concrete and brick factories, and the application for these opportunities will be limited to those who have valid land transport licenses from the Ministry of Transport, and the offering of these sites comes in confirmation of the importance of the land transport sector and its role in developing the economic movement in the region. 400 Mobi plates in Dammam Suwaidan added that the Municipality offered two sets of billboards as part of this batch, the first set of 400 Mobi billboards spread in the cities of Dammam metropolis, and the second set of 15 Unipol billboards, in addition to four other investment opportunities ranging from a site for the practice of wild tanks at Half Moon Beach, an ATM site at Dammam Corniche, an existing kitchen in the Triangle neighborhood in Dammam, and a site for a women's center in the Doha neighborhood, Note that the period for opening bids for these investment opportunities has been set during the period from 1 to 15 Muharram 1438 AH.
