«Housing» demands land for its project in Qatif

As part of the Riyadh Municipality’s efforts to develop the capital, the Mayor of Riyadh, Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Mubarak, signed contracts for 23 projects with a total value of 222,177,333riyals with a number of national companies and institutions. These projects included 18 projects within the city of Riyadh, with a total value of 182,282,061) riyals. These projects involved the removal of waste and demolition debris from vacant lots and streets in the city of Riyadh; conducting surveys of land and buildings; and preparing and verifying survey reports and expropriation reports for urban planning purposes; the improvement and development of Al-Olaya Street from its intersection with Anas bin Malik Road to its intersection with Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Road in Riyadh; the maintenance and cleaning of components of the monitoring system for tunnels and stormwater collection reservoirs in Riyadh; Procurement of vehicles and machinery for the Al-Naseem and Al-Nizam Municipal Branches for the year 1433/1434 AH; procurement of an Epson scanner with an automatic document feeder; organization of a choral festival as part of the Municipality’s 1434 AH events program; Replacing the entrance gates of the Riyadh Municipality, along with renovating and upgrading the entrance to the Office of His Excellency the Mayor, the restrooms in the main lobby, and the exterior signage; fencing off the site designated for the rubble dump near the Ramah Governorate; Conducting a study on the development of the Al-Shumaisi area and preparing a comprehensive plan for the heritage areas in the city of Riyadh; supplying and installing security and safety systems at the Al-Rujai’ and Al-A’yan warehouses, the electricity warehouse in Al-Ghanamiya, and the vehicle warehouse on Al-Nahda Street; Landscape lighting for squares and plazas in Riyadh; studying and designing flood and rainwater drainage networks in various areas of Riyadh; managing and securing emergency response sites for the Municipality in central Riyadh; Maintenance and cleaning of public restrooms in Riyadh (Part A); maintenance and replacement of old irrigation networks (Phase 9); removal of mounds in Riyadh; and maintenance and restoration of public municipal facilities
The new contracts also included five projects for municipalities in the Riyadh region with a total value of (39,895,272) riyals, covering the construction of public squares and restrooms in Marat and its villages, asphalting, sidewalks, and street lighting for the municipalities of Dir’iya, Al-Muzahmiyah, Dhurma, Al-Ayina, Al-Jubailah, and Harimla, cleaning, maintenance, and operation of the Regional Municipalities Agency building; monitoring municipal projects in the Riyadh region; and improving and beautifying the entrances to the municipalities of Al-Kharj, Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Dalm, Al-Sail, and Hotat Bani Tamim.
