RAK Properties unveils 800 residential villas, 212 under construction and an Anantara hotel

On the sidelines of the exhibition, Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, Managing Director and CEO of RAK Properties, announced that RAK Properties has completed 45% of the Mina Al Arab project in Ras Al Khaimah, with a total area of one million square feet and a total value of AED 10 billion.

Qadi added that the company has started implementing a package of development projects, most notably the «Mina Al Arab» project, pointing out that the infrastructure of this project is complete, including bridges and streets, and that the completion rate of this huge project reached 45%, including 20 residential buildings consisting of 5-7 floors, all of which overlook the lake that was created for this project, as well as the completion of 800 residential villas and 212 villas under construction, in addition to the construction of a hotel (Anantara) expected to be fully completed in 2018.

Qadi said that the availability of several factors in Ras Al Khaimah makes it eligible and incubator for such quality projects as an emirate characterized by the diversity of its natural terrain that contains sandy, agricultural and mountainous areas, as well as the ease of ownership system procedures for all nationalities as it allows freehold ownership.

He added, "The second phase of the project is estimated at a total cost of five billion dirhams, which will be launched soon, explaining that it includes 2000 apartments of different sizes, 170 villas, 2000 hotel rooms of 4 and 5 stars, in addition to a number of commercial facilities to be completed and a shopping center that includes a number of international brands, which will be the largest shopping center in the emirate."

He added.
