The Saudi Ministry of Housing plans to sign 15 new memorandums of understanding with local developers to build more than 40,000 housing units priced between 250,000 and 650,000 riyals per unit.

In this regard, Mohammed Al-Ghunaim, Head of Public Relations and Media at the Ministry of Housing, clarified that these units are unrelated to the Ministry’s projects on its own land, which will be based on the principle of partnership with the private sector.

Al-Ghunaim said that the housing units will be built on land owned by developers and will include apartments of various sizes, townhouses, and villas, with townhouses making up the majority, noting that the focus will be on the main regions (Riyadh, the Western Province, and the Eastern Province).
