HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz is a man of culture and history and believes that countries that do not care and cherish their history have no future.
In a press statement following his recent visit to the second annual exhibition of crafts and handicrafts of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which was held at the National Museum in Riyadh, accompanied by the ministers of tourism in the Cooperation Council for the Gulf States, he added that "the program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Cultural Heritage has been approved in the first phase for three billion riyals, which will restore historical sites to their splendor, and the country and the citizen will be partners in this phase with aspects of caring for the heritage and history that we are all proud of"

The meeting extended their thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his kindness in receiving them, and for the fatherly words and wise directives they heard from him. The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the promotion of tourism and heritage programs and efforts in the region, and strengthening joint cooperation between the GCC countries in the tourism fields, and approved the (comprehensive vision for joint tourism work in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries)
