Riyadh—Amlak
As part of its efforts to strengthen its media presence in the Gulf and Arab regions, the newspaper “Amlak” has signed a media sponsorship agreement for the «Big Five» exhibition, which specializes in the construction and building sector in the Middle East, to be held in both the Kingdom and Dubai.
Under the contract, the newspaper will sponsor the «Big Five 213» exhibition in Dubai, while the 2014 edition of the exhibition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will also be sponsored by the newspaper.
On this occasion, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Issa, Editor-in-Chief of Amlak Real Estate Newspaper, explained following the signing of the contract that the newspaper’s sponsorship of the «Big Five» exhibition—which is considered one of the most important specialized exhibitions in the field of construction and building in the Middle East— stems from the newspaper’s commitment to expanding its sponsorship of real estate events and exhibitions both inside and outside the Kingdom, given that it is the leading newspaper specializing in the real estate sector in the Gulf and Arab regions, adding that organizers of real estate exhibitions, forums, and conferences have consistently sought to include Amlak Media as a media partner in the events they organize both inside and outside the Kingdom, as the newspaper has consistently received invitations throughout the year to participate in sponsoring and covering various real estate events.
Regarding ”Amlak’s” strategy ”Amlak” in sponsoring real estate events, Al-Issa emphasized that the newspaper has extensive cumulative experience spanning several years, during which it has sponsored a number of real estate events both inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Arab Gulf states, and has therefore built up a vast and rich track record in sponsoring real estate exhibitions, forums, and conferences. He noted that, based on this foundation, ”Amlak” has developed a clearly defined strategy that it will implement through its sponsorship of the «Big Five» exhibition events in both Dubai and the Kingdom, in line with its specialized focus on the construction and building sector in the Middle East, Al-Issa added that ”Amlak’s” distinction in sponsoring and covering various real estate events has led «The Big Five» organizers to ensure Amlak’s media participation.
It should be noted that, according to «DMG Events,» the 2013 «Big Five» expanded its exhibition areas by adding a section dedicated to «interior design for construction,» to ensure that every sector of the construction industry has the opportunity to showcase its products and technologies in an effective environment.
The latest study of the construction market in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries revealed that the market is currently the most active in the world, with a current value of $1.5 trillion. The study noted that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are at the forefront, with a total value of current and future construction projects amounting to $629 billion and $949 billion, respectively.
