The "Nine-Tenths" program showcased its programs and solutions for male and female entrepreneurs through its participation in the Small and Medium Enterprises Forum, which concluded last Thursday, October 20, The forum was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and organized by the Center for Small and Medium Enterprise Development at the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce.
During the forum, Engineer Amjad Idris, Director of the “Nine-Tenths” program, highlighted the diverse services the program offers to entrepreneurs at various stages of building their startups, based on a belief in the importance of the role of young people in achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and the importance of small and medium-sized enterprises in empowering young men and women to seize opportunities in entrepreneurship and investment. He explained that the program is one of the most important initiatives of the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
The program provides business accelerator services, which it launched with an accelerator in the Makkah region in collaboration with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, followed by an accelerator in the Riyadh region that opened for applications at the beginning of October. A business accelerator in the Eastern Province is scheduled to launch next year. The “Nine-Tenths” program also offers financial solutions through the “Musharaka Fund” to stimulate venture capital funds.
