Yesterday, the Governor of Al-Ahsa, Prince Badr bin Mohammed bin Jalawi Al Saud, met with Hamza bin Abdulaziz Al-Askar, Secretary of the Real Estate Contributions Committee at the Kingdom’s Ministry of Commerce, and Khalid Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Real Estate Committee at the Al-Ahsa Chamber of Commerce, to discuss the obstacles related to the issue of delinquent contributions in theprovince.
Al-Askar explained that the meeting was intended to foster communication ”with government agencies and ensure coordination in addressing this issue, as well as to discuss with His Highness the restoration of shareholders” rights. We found him to be fully cooperative and understanding of the committee’s role in addressing this issue, and we were given a positive outlook regarding the resolution of some contributions that require additional effort from government agencies in Al-Ahsa Governorate. God willing, we will see positive results in thenear future.” Prince Badr directed that these cases be resolved as quickly as possible, given their prolonged duration and the harm suffered by a number of citizens in Al-Ahsa and beyond as a result of these cases, which the committee will review.
