Yesterday, the Real Estate Contributions Committee at the Ministry of Commerce and Investment successfully resolved the impasse surrounding the Half Moon Beach contribution, which the committee had offered for direct sale, The deadline for submitting bids for the development plots was 30/01/1438 AH.
The sale took place at the committee’s headquarters in the presence of members of the sales committee and all bidders, with prices ranging from 50 riyals per meter for the least expensive lot, while the most expensive plot sold for 90 riyals per square meter, bringing the total sale amount to over 530 million riyals for all six plots located in Al-Khobar.
It should be noted that the total land area is 7,562,581 m² and is distinguished by its proximity to the beach, and last week, the committee successfully sold the Al-Ahsa Jewel project for over 72 million riyals, bringing the committee’s total sales of distressed projects to over 600 million riyals in less than two weeks—funds that will be returned to shareholders shortly.
