The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may God protect him—inaugurated a number of industrial and development projects in Jubail Industrial City today, and laid the foundation stone for projects by the Royal Commission, Saudi Aramco, and the private sector.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques then toured a photo exhibition by Sadara and Satorp and listened—may God protect him—to an explanation of their work and products.

His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan, President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, then delivered a speech in which he said: “It is my honor to welcome you, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to the industrial city of Jubail, the stronghold of industry and the economy. It is also an honor for me to express to Your Highness my deepest thanks and gratitude for the great care you show toward our citizens and your commitment to everything that serves them and ensures their well-being.”

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah added: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques—may God support you—you have witnessed these achievements firsthand, and today you are continuing this journey by laying the cornerstone and inaugurating a series of projects of unprecedented scale, with investments exceeding 216 billion riyals from the Royal Commission, Aramco, SABIC, and their partners—giants of the global industry—as well as other private sector facilities and companies.

His Highness added: Today, you are marking—may God protect you—the beginning of a new historic chapter in the development industry by laying the cornerstone for the Jubail Industrial City Economic Center, which will become a regional hub for the northern part of the Eastern Province, All of this underscores the strength of our national economy and its ability to overcome challenges, God willing, especially, O Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as your sons in this bountiful homeland offer sacrifice and generosity—one hand protecting there and another building here. We salute our brave soldiers and our loyal security personnel who defend the homeland’s borders and protect its sanctities, its people, and its achievements.

Following that, His Majesty the King watched a visual presentation on the projects of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and SABIC.
