Discussing the private sector's contribution to the development of housing lands

The Housing and Urban Development Committee of the Real Estate Committee of the Riyadh Chamber discussed at its first meeting, chaired by Board Member of the Chamber and Chairman of the Real Estate Committee, Aiad bin Abdullah Al-Wabri, a number of issues aimed at serving the real estate sector and creating a stimulating environment to support real estate developers and investors.

Al-Wabri explained that the committee identified during the meeting the most prominent programs, including communicating with the Ministry of Housing to discuss defining a framework for partnership between the ministry and real estate developers, preparing a practical guidebook that defines the frameworks of this partnership, creating systems and incentives to encourage developers and investors to implement the ministry's programs, ways to support developers to implement the ministry's strategic goal of providing adequate housing for citizens, in addition to discussing the contribution of the private sector in the development of lands allocated for housing to be ready to establish housing units in exchange for development costs represented in building infrastructure or buying commercial sites according to the nature, costs and value of the nature, costs and value of the real estate sector.
