Minister Al-Hogail stressed that housing goes through stages, including the agreement and feasibility study, and the marketing stage.
Al-Hogail pointed out in a press statement after opening the sessions of the fourth Arab Housing Conference yesterday in Riyadh, that the partnership with the private sector in the Kingdom will contribute to solving the housing issue, providing the housing product with the least support, and providing the citizen with a distinct and competitive product, and I believe that this is the real partnership, pointing out at the same time that many regulations hinder many companies in the speed of implementation or providing quality and our role as a government is to facilitate this issue, which is why in the ministry has established Etamam Center, Wafi Center, Owners Union and rent regulation, all to help investors to invest in a suitable environment and climate that preserves their rights and provides excellent service to the citizen.
He added that the goal in the Kingdom of partnerships is to make companies offer the best of what they have and the citizen chooses what is most suitable for him, and all the agreements that you have seen in the past, we do not consider it an agreement until the citizen is the one who chooses the most suitable for him in terms of product, price or services provided, the Egyptian experience is rich during the past five years has produced beautiful residential neighborhoods at good prices for its citizens and investors outside Egypt, and we invite them to provide such experience in the Kingdom, the citizen will see what will be offered to him and has the choice.
He added that the conference is held with the participation of specialists in housing, urban development, real estate development, investment and financing representing government and private institutions from several countries, with the aim of introducing the role of decision makers and concerned parties in achieving national visions in the field of partnership in housing, as well as providing insights on the role of government institutions and bodies in the partnership between the public and private sectors, in addition to highlighting the role of the private sector in achieving housing policy objectives and clarifying the adoption of partnership as a strategic option in housing projects.
The conference is held with the participation of specialists in housing, urban development, real estate development, investment and financing representing government and private institutions from several countries.
He pointed out that the conference, which includes more than 51 scientific papers, will also discuss many themes that contribute to the activation and adoption of partnership as a strategic choice, most notably: Partnership between the public and private sectors in urban development in the field of housing, and the basics of partnership between government agencies and the private sector in the field of activating housing plans, in addition to many other topics that we hope will achieve their desired goals.
