The Ministry of Justice has directed all notary publics not to accept any correspondence received regarding the emptying of title deeds except under a letter signed by the Minister of Justice Dr. Walid Al-Samaani.

This came in a circular issued by the Minister of Justice.

This came in a circular issued by the Minister of Justice due to the issuance of letters received by notaries directly, without submitting them to the Ministry, and the notaries relying on them in emptying, which is contrary to previous circulars issued by the Ministry in this regard.

Dr. Al-Samaani stressed that any emptying without a signed written directive for title deeds will be subject to accountability and investigation, for those who issued the directive and those who relied on it in emptying, and the head of the notary will be directly responsible for referring any directive received by the notary that violates these instructions. It is noteworthy that deeds of ownership include requests for ownership of grant lands, and requests for certificates of right of possession.
