The Ministry of Housing has been approved by the National Digital Certification Center (NDC) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) as a government certification service provider alongside King Faisal University (KFU). This step comes towards achieving a high level of trust in e-government transactions, employing appropriate security technologies and advanced policies and procedures.

The step enables both entities to benefit from the services of the National Center for Digital Certification and issue their needs of digital certificates to the beneficiaries of their electronic services, and activate digital certification services such as identity verification, electronic signature and data encryption, and address the shortcomings represented by the difficulty of ascertaining the identity of the parties dealing electronically.
