The White Land Fees Committee received 53 requests for exemption from fees in the city of Riyadh alone. This was explained by Mohammed Al-Madihim, Advisor to the Minister of Housing and Supervisor of the White Land Fees Program, indicating that these requests are being studied and reviewed and will be decided soon. He pointed out that the data related to the city of Jeddah has been sorted and work is underway to audit the deeds, indicating that the eastern region will be next.He confirmed that the announcement of the lands on which fees will be imposed in the first phase will be made in mid-February, as planned, and the invoices will be issued during the months of March and April, starting with Riyadh, followed by two weeks in Jeddah and Dammam metropolitan area.

It is noteworthy that Mohammed Al-Madihim, advisor to the Minister of Housing and supervisor of white land fees, had revealed during his participation in a workshop on white fees within the activities of the Eastern Statics exhibition last week, that 595 million meters of white land were registered in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, indicating that the decision took nine months to implement, and this period was enough to start extracting plans and working on developing them to avoid imposing fees on their owners.

Madihim added that the decision took nine months for its implementation.
