Saudi Contractors Authority invites all its members to attend the General Assembly meeting next Tuesday

The Saudi Contractors Authority invites all its registered and full members to attend the first “General Assembly” meeting next Tuesday at the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh, Engineer Thabit bin Mubarak Al-Suwaid, Secretary General of the Authority, explained that the General Assembly meeting is being held in accordance with the Saudi Contractors Authority’s regulations, which stipulate that only full members of the Authority are invited (Saudi contractors licensed to practice the contracting profession who have completed their registration procedures for Association membership.

The General Assembly will discuss the 2016 annual report and address the Authority’s work plan for the first term of the Board of Directors, the executive regulations governing the Authority, and the administrative and financial regulations, as well as determining membership dues, approving the final accounts through the end of 2016, the estimated budget for 2017, and appointing the auditor and setting his remuneration for 2017.

Al-Suwaid explained that, prior to the meeting, full members will be briefed on the details and contents of the agenda items. Membership registration will close at the end of Saturday, 1438/14/5/14 AH, corresponding to February 11, 2017 AD, as participation in the meeting is limited to Saudi contractors who have completed their membership procedures with the Authority by the date of the meeting.
