Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to sponsor the second International Integrity Conference on February 20

Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Riyadh will host the second Nazaha International Conference, which will be held during the period from 23 to 24 Jumada I 1438H corresponding to 20-21 February 2017, organized by the National Anti-Corruption Commission «Nazaha» with the participation of specialists and experts in the field of protecting integrity and combating corruption from inside and outside the Kingdom.

The conference will discuss, through several open sessions and workshops, themes related to governance, transparency, accountability in the public and private sectors, international cooperation and asset recovery, as well as presenting experiences of international best practices in these fields. On this occasion, His Excellency the Chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Dr. Khaled bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Muhaysen, expressed his great thanks and sincere gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God protect him - for his generous sponsorship of this conference.

Muhaysen explained that this conference comes in line with the Kingdom's vision (2030), and based on the Kingdom's awareness of the impact of corruption on any society, and its keenness to share the international community's interest in enhancing efforts to contribute to protecting integrity and combating corruption, and benefiting from the experiences of countries and international organizations, and the Kingdom's efforts to activate its international partnership of agreements in this field in accordance with the principles of international law and international charters and treaties that included the organization of regional and international conferences by states parties to enhance cooperation and exchange of experiences.
