Al-Rumaih Holding Company has obtained a license to sell off-plan real estate units (land plots) for the Tarut “New Beach” project located in Qatif, which spans an area of approximately 319,304 thousand square meters, distributed across more than 500 plots of land.
For his part, Mohammed bin Saud Al-Ghazwani, Secretary-General of the Off-Plan Sales Committee, explained that the company has already begun developing the project, with a completion rate of 12%, noting that the Off-Plan Sales Committee at the Ministry of Housing is the authority responsible, through “Wafi,” for issuing off-plan sales or lease licenses—which cover the sale or lease of real estate units for any purpose, before or during the development phase— in accordance with the timeline, specifications, and plans set forth in the contract for the real estate unit as in its final form, and the developer’s commitment to them.
Al-Ghazwani stated that the “Wafi” program monitors all projects licensed by the committee, through a program of inspection tours and field visits to ensure that work continues in accordance with each project’s scheduled plan, thereby fulfilling buyers’ contracts and delivering the real estate unit on the specified dates without delay
It is worth noting that the program authorizes the off-plan sale of land, the off-plan marketing of interior and exterior real estate units within the Kingdom, and the display of interior and exterior real estate units at off-plan exhibitions within the Kingdom.
