The course indicated that barcodes are an essential tool for e-commerce methods and achieve legislative and legal requirements in international trade, as they contribute effectively in raising the level of performance of all operations, and that each product has its own barcode number, which is like a genetic code, in addition to the genetic code of the product. The course was presented by Thamer Osama bin Talib, coordinator of the center, and Ibrahim Assaf, director of technology and information at the center, and dealt with the historical framework and aimed to help companies, institutions and distributors and introduce them to the importance of barcodes, their types, areas of use, mechanisms to ensure the quality of printing and global standards for granting and distributing numbers and how to create them for services and products.
