The Ministry of Housing has reaffirmed its commitment to utilizing the royal support it received during the reign of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; amounting to 250 billion riyals, to build half a million homes. Housing Minister Majid Al-Hogail confirmed that the ministry intends to utilize this amount in its future programs, adding that the funding is available at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority.
The Minister of Housing denied any favoritism in the distribution of the ministry’s housing units to eligible recipients, noting that the ministry is working to ensure that housing units reach those who are entitled to them.
