The “Itmam” Developer Services Center at the Ministry of Housing has provided services for the development of real estate projects with a total construction area exceeding 2.2 million square meters over the past three months, The services provided ranged from approving land plans and building permits to issuing certificates of completion, registering fees for undeveloped land, and issuing off-plan sales permits, in addition to registering homeowners“ associations and other services offered by the center.
Mohammed bin Saud Al-Ghazwani, General Supervisor of the ”Etmam“ Developer Services Center, explained that the total land area submitted to the center exceeds 65 million square meters, of which approximately 52 million square meters pertains to vacant land registration services.
Al-Ghazwani noted that the number of projects approved by ”Etemam“ totaled fifteen, including requests for partnerships, exemptions, and preliminary approvals for land subdivision plans, as well as licenses for off-plan real estate unit sales projects, while work is still underway on thirteen other projects.
Meanwhile, the Center’s administration apologized to a number of developers for not providing services for thirteen projects due to their failure to meet the necessary requirements for issuing registration certificates with the Owners” Association, approving infrastructure networks, and providing retailand sorting services. The “Etmam” Center’s branches had received 137 applications for projects in various cities across the Kingdom, and Etmam’s task forces held 46 workshops with local and foreign real estate development companies.
The center’s general supervisor concluded by emphasizing the Ministry of Housing’s commitment—represented by the “Etmam” Developer Services Center “Etam,” to complete all applications submitted to the center within the specified timeframe for each service and to provide satisfactory services to every real estate developer who applies to the center. He noted that the “Etam” website and social media accounts provide all the necessary information regarding the center’s services.
