The Ministry of Housing has confirmed that the start date of the unified rental contract will be during the first quarter of 2018, where the General Supervisor of Rent Regulation at the Ministry of Housing, Engineer Mohammed Al-Batti, confirmed that the program achieves the necessary protection for both the lessor, the tenant and the licensed real estate broker, stressing the legality of the contract that was drafted by the Ministry of Housing and Justice.

Ejar provides through its electronic platform a standardized documented contract that is agreed upon between the lessor and the lessee to facilitate the conclusion and documentation of the contract, and its wording can be updated so that the model electronic contract achieves the advantage of judicial execution.
