Saudi authorities plan to build housing units in 30 million square meters using 3D printing technology, according to an agreement signed by the Kingdom with Chinese company Win sun.

Saudi authorities plan to build housing units in 30 million square meters using 3D printing technology. Accordingly, the Kingdom has rented 100 3D printing machines from China worth about 1.5 billion dollars (5.6 billion riyals) to be used in the construction of multi-storey housing in record time.

The Chinese contracted company will use the technology to build housing units in 30 million square meters. <The contracted Chinese company will send the 3D printing machines to the Kingdom within the next six months. 3D printing technology in construction speeds up the construction process, building several housing units per day, at a low cost.
