General Supervisor of the Ministry of Housing said that the agreement includes the implementation of 900 housing units in 9 regions for social security beneficiaries. The General Supervisor of Cooperative and Affordable Housing at the Ministry of Housing, Abdullah bin Mohsen Al-Nimri, explained that this meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry of Housing's keenness and interest in activating the partnership with the various relevant authorities to serve the country and the citizen, and enhance the role of affordable housing that serves a number of community members in various regions of the Kingdom, noting that the Ministry targets all groups to provide appropriate housing at the right quality and price, including the low income group and special social cases.

During the meeting, Al-Nimri reviewed the main features of the pillars of the cooperative and affordable housing strategy and its objectives, in addition to the quality of the groups targeted by the ministry with the cooperative housing initiative and the extent of their geographical distribution in different regions of the Kingdom, while addressing the most prominent challenges and how to overcome them, while stressing that the ministry will periodically announce the agreements it will sign with non-profit sector entities in the Kingdom.
The meeting witnessed the discussion of the main features of the pillars of the cooperative and affordable housing strategy and its objectives, in addition to the quality of the groups targeted by the ministry with the cooperative housing initiative. <The meeting witnessed the discussion of the expected key role of the non-profit sector in housing the target groups and contributing to the provision of various programs, social research and cultural events related to housing, in addition to referring to the role of the Ministry of Housing to achieve the provisions of the Saudi Vision 2030 to create the necessary environment for the non-profit sector to assume its responsibilities and take the initiative in facing challenges and investing opportunities, and cooperating in providing adequate housing opportunities for families unable to provide it, in addition to enabling the charitable sector to be more effective in the housing sectors and social programs. The meeting also addressed the importance of such meetings and similar workshops with private sector entities to benefit from the experiences of charitable institutions and associations and build on their achievements.
