Preparations are underway for the opening of the second Gulf-Turkish Real Estate Exhibition and Forum to receive visitors from all over the world under the patronage of Turkish Minister of Environment and Urban Planning Erdogan Bayrakdar, which is organized by the Turkey Guide Group in strategic partnership with CNR Exhibitions, and brings together a large number of real estate and investment companies in these countries that want to present their investment, real estate and residential opportunities, as well as the tourism projects that characterize Turkey, due to the multiple and unprecedented opportunities in the Turkish market in these fields, especially since it allowed direct ownership system for citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. For his part, Dr. Mohammed Mufreh, Chairman of the Founding Board of the OIC Real Estate Federation and Managing Director of Turkey Guide Group, said: “We are only a few days away from one of the most important real estate exhibitions in the region, and preparations are in full swing to receive interested Saudi, Gulf and Arab families looking for opportunities to own or invest in Turkey, and there is a specialized Arabic-speaking team to respond and interact with visitors from Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries.”
In a related context and on the sidelines of the exhibition, the second Gulf-Turkish Real Estate Forum will be held, which targets the elite Gulf and Arab businessmen and investors alike, and this forum is considered the basis for serving real estate investors and developers, and plays an essential and pivotal role in creating partnerships with long-term economic dimensions on the Gulf and Turkish sides, as well as discussion sessions and workshops will be held after the end of the exhibition activities each day for 3-4 hours, and it should be noted that the first edition of this forum last year achieved a distinguished Saudi and Gulf presence of more than 300 businessmen, investors and developers. Last year, Turkey passed a law allowing citizens of 183 countries to buy and own immovable property in Turkey. The amendment to the law also allowed the government to double the areas of land that a foreigner is entitled to buy to 60 hectares.
