“Housing” signs MoUs with 35 local and international companies under the Private Sector Partnership Program

Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, Advisor and General Supervisor of the Ministry of Housing Agency for Housing Support and Branches, confirmed that the ministry has signed memorandums of understanding with 30 local companies and 5 international companies within the partnership program with the private sector.

Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr <Prince Saud bin Talal indicated that the ministry is in the final stages of signing contracts with these companies. He explained that the products to be provided by these initiatives will exceed 280,000 housing products and will appear on the ground as of 2018, stressing that all products provided by the ministry range in price from 200 to 700,000 riyals.

He added that the ministry has held meetings with 30 local and 5 international companies under the private sector partnership program. He added that the ministry held several workshops with developers and citizens regarding the programs it launched, including the Ejar and Owners Union programs in addition to the partnership program with the private sector.

For its part, the ministry revealed that it is working with the General Authority for Statistics to launch a real estate and housing index, which is expected to be launched at the end of the second quarter of this year 2017.
