Minister of Housing Majid Al-Hogail said that the construction time takes two to three years, and the ministry seeks through construction techniques to limit this period to 6 months. Al-Hogail explained that the ministry is looking for modern construction techniques that will help reduce the cost of construction to appropriate numbers that support the ministry's goals to provide the right products as soon as possible.

Hogail pointed out that his ministry is targeting to provide 1,000 thousand housing units. He pointed out that his ministry aims to provide 120,000 housing units through the “Residential” program ranging from 250,000 to 750,000 riyals during the current year and continue at the same pace during the next three years.

Haqeel said that the ministry is looking for modern construction techniques that will help reduce the cost of construction to numbers that enhance the ministry's goals to provide appropriate products as quickly as possible. Regarding his visit to the United States of America, he said that a preliminary meeting was held in preparation for signing an agreement in an upcoming visit, adding that there will be a meeting with a number of American developers to invest in Saudi Arabia and undertake a number of projects in the near future.
