The National Water Company has urged its customers to update their information regarding water and sanitation service subscriptions, either through its online portal or by visiting the nearest customer service branch in four cities (Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, Taif), or by contacting the company’s unified call center to avoid accumulating water bills and ensure uninterrupted service.

In a statement, the company noted that a number of customers are not receiving their water service bills because they have not updated their property information, emphasizing that updating this information is now mandatory for all properties to prevent water service from being suspended for customers, explaining that when customers update their information, it helps the company provide them with better, faster, and more accurate services.

The company explained that updating this information helps ensure that bills are delivered on time electronically via text message each month through the online portal, It also helps manage customers" property billing accurately on a monthly basis, confirm the transfer of ownership of sold properties to the new owner, and inform the new owner of any outstanding debt on the property based on the date of ownership, in addition to the ability to update property units according to the building permit.

The company stated that some of its customers have encountered problems transferring ownership of their homes to others because the previous owners had failed to pay outstanding water bills for several years. It also noted that other customers had not received their water bills for several years because they had not updated their personal information, emphasizing the importance of providing accurate information about themselves and their properties; which has led to delays in some payments, resulting in the suspension of water services to those properties until their information is properly updated.
