<For $1.9 million, an abandoned American town in Connecticut called Johnsonville has been put up for sale. The town overlooks a river and has a post office, a bank and many other buildings built in the Queen Victoria era.
<According to real estate agent Sherry Mielke, Johnsonville was founded in 1802 and was once a historic retreat for the wealthy, rented by many people until 1998, and over the past 20 years has become a ghost town.
<Wealthy businessman Raymond Schmidt owned Johnsonville until his death and added a number of beautiful buildings, a meeting hall, a barn and a general store, according to a USA Today report.
