<The Cabinet decided at yesterday's meeting to reorganize the planned lands approved by the competent authority that do not have sufficient educational facilities, in coordination between the Ministries of Municipality and Rural Development and Education. This will include lands purchased by the Ministry of Education to establish educational facilities on them.

<This came after the Cabinet reviewed the transaction submitted by the Ministry of Education regarding the approval of allowing the establishment of schools in neighborhoods without educational facilities on private land that is purchased without taking the consent of the neighbors. The arrangements included:

When wishing to purchase land located in an informal area, the land is selected by the Land Purchase Committee without taking the consent of the neighbors, taking into account the re-planning and rehabilitation of this area by the competent authority.

- When wishing to purchase land located in an approved plan, the following procedures shall be taken:

Land allocated for educational facilities in approved plans that have not been disposed of shall be considered and purchased without taking the consent of the neighbors.

Land located on commercial streets in approved plans shall be considered and purchased without taking the consent of the neighbors.
