The Dubai government has established a set of requirements that property owners must meet in order to obtain residency. The newspaper “The National” revealed several of these requirements, including that the value of the property owned by the applicant must be at least one million dirhams. Additionally, the property owner’s monthly income must be at least 10,000 dirhams, and this income must not originate from Dubai. The property owner applying for the visa must submit the title deed along with a copy of their passport and a photo of their passport. These legal procedures do not apply to individuals who purchase property using loans or mortgages; rather, the full value of the property must be paid. The applicant must undergo a medical examination.

In this regard, a well-informed source confirmed that the property visa does not allow the individual to work and is intended for residency only, noting that an individual wishing to work must cancel their property residency and obtain a work visa.
