On the occasion of the sixth batch announced by the Ministry of Housing, Khalid Al-Amoudi, General Supervisor of the Real Estate Development Fund, said that the fund continues, through the program’s batches, “Sakani” program, in partnership with banks and financial institutions, to reduce waiting lists and expedite access to subsidized financing.
In line with this, the Real Estate Development Fund has announced more than 46,000 subsidized loans since the beginning of this year through this round, at a monthly rate of 7,700 loans, as the financing mechanism reduces the waiting period from 11 years to a maximum of 5 years and provides support to 6 citizens for every 1 citizen under the previous mechanism, In addition, the Support Center for Subsidized Financing Beneficiaries has been launched to begin assisting eligible applicants for real estate financing who face difficulties in obtaining financing. The center also accepts applications from those seeking financing to build their own homes, known as self-financing. The center is located in all of the Fund’s branches throughout the Kingdom. The launch of this new center underscores the Fund’s commitment to helping find solutions, serving citizens, and facilitating access to financing for eligible applicants, This is achieved by assigning experienced and competent teams to receive complaints and explore ways to resolve all outstanding issues. The Support Center for Eligible Borrowers also serves as a direct link between beneficiaries and partner banks and financial institutions.”
