The Ministry of Labor and Social Development announced that the Wage Protection Program will take effect on August 1 as part of Phase 11 for establishments with 60 or more employees.

The program monitors wage payments for all male and female workers (Saudis and expatriates) with the aim of creating a database containing up-to-date information on wage payments and determining the extent to which establishments comply with paying wages on time and in the agreed-upon amount.
