Statistical reports from the Ministry of Justice, which have tracked real estate activity from the beginning of the current Hijri year 1438 until the end of last week, revealed real estate prices across the Kingdom’s regions. The Riyadh region topped the list with the highest average price for residential properties in the Kingdom, with the average price of residential buildings reaching 8.99 million riyals. The Eastern Province, which ranked second, had an average of 3.06 million riyals, while in the Makkah region, the average price of residential buildings was 2.34 million riyals. Meanwhile, the average price of mansions in the Riyadh region was 2.05 million riyals.
Average Land Prices in the Kingdom
According to statistical data on the average price of land plots across the Kingdom, the average price of a land plot in Makkah was 1.49 million riyals, while in the Riyadh region it reached 788,400 riyals, in the Madinah region 721,500 riyals, in the Qassim region 258,870 riyals, and in the Eastern Province 801,780 riyals.
The average price of land in the Asir region reached 354,300 riyals and 331,400 riyals in the Tabuk region. Meanwhile, it stood at 253,200 riyals in Ha’il and 167,500 riyals in the Northern Border region, 312,180 riyals in the Jazan region, 189,100 riyals in the Najran region, 201,580 riyals in the Al-Baha region, and 253,700 riyals in the Al-Jawf region.
Al-Jawf Villas Are the Most Expensive
Reports indicated that average villa prices varied by city and villa type, with the average price of villas in the Riyadh region reaching 1.1 million riyals, 1.24 million riyals in the Makkah region, 953,960 riyals in the Madinah region, 407,465 riyals in the Qassim region, 1.007 million riyals in the Eastern Province, 1.048 million riyals in the Asir region, 1.08 million riyals in the Tabuk region, 319,760 riyals in the Hail region, 579,600 riyals in the Jazan region, and 1.6 million riyals in the Al-Jawf region.

Al-Jawf homes fetch 688.8 thousand riyals
According to the Ministry of Justice’s classification, the average sale prices of real estate listed as “homes” in the regions were as follows: 244,400 riyals in the Riyadh region, 554,400 riyals in the Makkah region, 499,570 riyals in the Madinah region, 189,300 riyals in the Qassim region, 285,300 riyals in the Eastern Province, 245,600 riyals in the Asir region, 145,200 riyals in the Tabuk region, 167,500 riyals in the Ha’il region, 134,980 riyals in the Northern Border Region, 175,780 riyals in the Jazan Region, 169,200 riyals in the Najran Region, 70,700 riyals in the Al-Baha Region, and 668,400 riyals in the Al-Jawf Region.
