As part of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment’s initiatives, the Ministry of Commerce and Investment today launched an online service for renewing companies’ commercial registrations via the com.cr.sa website, in order to serve the Kingdom’s commercial and investment sectors in collaboration with its strategic partner, Thiqah Business Services.
According to the Ministry of Commerce, companies can renew their commercial registration electronically through simple and easy steps, as the service for establishing and renewing company contracts electronically is one of the initiatives of the National Transformation Program 2020 aimed at promoting electronic transactions and achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by supporting and facilitating government procedures for the private sector.
This service complements the electronic commercial registration services for companies launched by the Ministry last year, The service includes several features, such as submitting the application electronically, allowing the renewal of all company registrations issued manually or electronically, and the ability to print the renewed registration electronically.
The Ministry outlined the steps for renewing the company registry electronically by accessing the website, submitting a new application, selecting the registries to be renewed, and specifying the years
for renewal, attaching the commercial license if required by the business activity, then paying the renewal fees via the SADAD system, and finally printing the electronically renewed commercial register
