Deeds of Transfer Top Real Estate Transactions
Deeds of transfer topped the list of real estate transactions recorded in the regions, with 246,787 transactions, followed by the registration of power-of-attorney documents, with 135,966 transactions; then the registration of old deeds, with 79,288 transactions; followed by the updating of deeds in the comprehensive system, with 71,371 transactions; followed by deed sorting, with 70,687 transactions; grant registrations, with 20,626 transactions; deed amendment registrations, with 19,355 transactions; followed by property ownership registrations without a deed, with 18,260 transactions; property consolidation, with 11,982 transactions; and property mortgages, with 7,717 transactions.
Discharge of encumbrances was the most common type of real estate transaction in the Eastern Province with 39,694 transactions, followed by registration of power-of-attorney documents with 23,201 transactions, then updating deeds for the comprehensive system with 16,868 transactions, followed by the registration of old deeds, with 13,232 transactions; then the sorting of deeds, with 9,798 transactions; followed by deed amendments, with 4,071 transactions; then the registration of property ownership without a deed, with 2,615 transactions; followed by grant transactions, totaling 2,000; then partition transactions, totaling 1,645; followed by real estate mortgage releases, totaling 1,645.
