Saudis completed approximately 5,366 real estate transactions in Dubai during the period from January 1, 2016, through the end of June 2017 (one and a half years), with the value of these real estate transactions totaling approximately 12.5 billion dirhams (equivalent to 12.77 billion Saudi riyals).
Reports issued by the Dubai Land Department revealed that Saudis ranked third on the list of the top real estate investors in Dubai, with Emiratis leading the way with deals totaling more than 37 billion dirhams, followed by Indians with deals worth more than 20 billion dirhams.
The Dubai Land Department said that 217 nationalities injected 151 billion dirhams into the Dubai real estate market over 18 months.
Dubai attracts real estate investors from outside the emirate due to the ease of owning, occupying, and investing in properties there, given the economic activity the emirate is experiencing.
