The organizers of Restatex Cityscape Riyadh have completed their preparations to launch this major real estate event, which will take place from September 27 to 30 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the generous patronage and support of His Excellency Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Housing.
The exhibition coincides with the promising policies outlined by the Kingdom’s government aimed at strengthening the real estate sector, making the exhibition a true platform for growth in the sector and its aspiration to stimulate investment in the country, especially as the Minister of Housing and relevant authorities have intensified their efforts to address the real estate sector in the Kingdom; this is one of the key principles of the Vision 2030 plans, in addition to collaborating with real estate development companies to increase supply in order to meet the growing demand for affordable housing, alongside increasing the homeownership rate among Saudi citizens.
In this context, Hussein Al-Faraj, CEO of Ramtan Exhibitions and Conferences, which is co-organizing the Restatex Cityscape Riyadh exhibition, said: “We are honored to have the support of His Excellency the Minister of Housing, and together, through the exhibition, we can play a role in transforming Riyadh into a global investment capital as well as providing real estate opportunities in the country’s residential, commercial, and hospitality sectors.”
For his part, Ahmed Zakaria, Director of Restatex Cityscape Riyadh, said: “The wide-ranging efforts to reshape and strengthen the real estate sector in the Kingdom, within the framework of the National Transformation Program and Vision 2030, have been met with overwhelming support, and we will see this support materialize at this year’s exhibition. Under the National Transformation Program, the Kingdom aims to double the real estate sector’s contribution to GDP to 10% by 2020, as well as tripling the percentage of residential units built by accredited real estate developers to 30%. Restatex Cityscape Riyadh aims to serve as a platform to advance this government vision.”
