The Ministry of Housing is considering funding free residential land starting next year, 2018.

This was stated by Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr Al Saud, Advisor and General Supervisor of the Ministry of Housing’s Agency for Housing Support and Branches, who noted that this measure is expected to be approved in 2018.

His Highness said that the Ministry of Housing has submitted special legislation to the Council of Experts within the Cabinet to address the issue of couples" applications for housing products being rejected due to the existence of properties registered in their wives" names.He noted that this stems from studies conducted by the Ministry on its housing products, as it seeks to provide comfortable housing for citizens anywhere in the Kingdom.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Housing announced the eighth batch of housing products for the 2017 Sakani campaign, which included 28,500 housing and financing products, of which 9,340 were developed plots of land provided free of charge.
