The Ministry of Housing plans to collect land fees through the “Saddad” service, with payments made at bank branches via the Ministry of Housing’s account number (171), at ATMs, or through bank websites.
This was announced during the “Restatex – Cityscape 2017” real estate exhibition, which concludes today at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, where the White Land Fees Program held a workshop titled “Updates to the White Land Fees Program.” Abdulhamid bin Sultan Al-Hammad, Operations Director of the Ministry of Housing’s White Land Fees Program, emphasized that the electronic linkage with various relevant government agencies will enable the Ministry to identify lands subject to the fee system whose owners have not complied with registration on the website.
Al-Hammad reiterated the inevitability of the fine that will be imposed on landowners who have not registered on the Land Fees System website, which may reach 1.5% of the land value, with an additional fee of the same percentage, bringing the total to 5% of the land value.
