The exhibition will feature a number of real estate developers showcasing a variety of housing programs tailored to the needs of Saudi families seeking high-end, energy-efficient homes, and will include a number of financial institutions offering financing solutions for those seeking affordable housing, as well as a select group of engineers and interior designers.
The “Maskan” exhibition is the first comprehensive real estate exhibition specializing in residential projects. The exhibition targets the entire Saudi family, with a focus on the role of women in decision-making when choosing a home, Therefore, a section has been dedicated to children to foster an understanding of construction and involve them in the decision-making process for selecting suitable housing. To encourage young talent, the Maskan Exhibition has also designated a section for male and female students of architecture and interior design.
The exhibition organizers will hold a press conference on Monday, March 10, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. at the Nayara Exhibition, Conference, and Event Center in Riyadh, during which the winners of the Maskan Architecture Competition and the exhibition’s program and events will be announced.
It should be noted that the idea of holding the first Saudi Family Exhibition for Housing Design, Financing, and Ownership arose from a collaboration between Nayara, a company specializing in organizing exhibitions and conferences, and Mosaic Real Estate, to create the first professional environment specifically for residential real estate developers, housing financing sourcesand furniture and interior design providers. Providing an ideal environment to incentivize residential real estate development companies through favorable terms that help meet the needs and requirements of Saudi families to own decent housing is a significant and effective step toward alleviating the housing crisis in the Kingdom.
