The Ministry of Interior has urged citizens wishing to purchase real estate in Mexico to obtain the necessary authorization from the Legal Affairs Department of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Major General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Mar'oul, Director General of Public Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior, explained that the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the United Mexican States received a memorandum from the Legal Department of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding (the right of foreigners to purchase real estate in Mexico and the requirements that must be met depending on the region where they wish to own property) after obtaining the necessary authorization from the Legal Affairs Department of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs or any Foreign Ministry office within Mexico, once all required conditions have been met.
