The Riyadh Region Secretariat has decided not to issue business licenses to commercial establishments engaged in the following activities (restaurants, furnished apartments, hotels, banks, wedding halls, medical centers and clinics – sports centers – kitchens and mandy restaurants – schools – recreational centers – and coffee shops) and all activities not listed here, unless they comply with the requirement to provide parking spaces in accordance with the schedule of planning requirements and specifications.

This was stated in a circular issued by the Secretariat to municipal mayors, clarifying the activities covered by the decision and noting that this is in line with the requirements established by the Riyadh Development Authority regarding parking.
