With the participation of 500 exhibiting companies from 30 countries around the world, Riyadh Region Governor Ibrahim Al-Sultan officially opened the Saudi Construction Expo 2017 yesterday evening. The event will run for four days at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition is being held concurrently with the “Saudi Stone Technology Exhibition,” and the ”Saudi Exhibition for Heavy Equipment, Machinery, and Construction Vehicles,” organized by Riyadh Exhibitions Co., Ltd. and held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Engineer Abdul Latif bin Abdul Malik Al Sheikh.
On this occasion, Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Husseini, General Supervisor of the exhibition, expressed his appreciation for the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs’ patronage of the exhibition, as it represents genuine support for these specialized exhibitions, which contribute to the continuity of work at a steady and evolving pace and provide a broad platform for creativity and the showcase of all innovative technologies through the participation of exhibitors from around the world.
Al-Husayni noted that the exhibition serves as an exceptional platform that allows the Kingdom to solidify its position as the largest construction market in the region, showcasing what 500 exhibiting companies from 30 countries around the world have to offer, which showcase their latest equipment and innovations in the field of building and construction, in line with the exhibition’s objectives, which aim to bring modern technology and tangible advancements to the Kingdom’s market, provide innovative solutions, facilitate knowledge exchange among experts, specialists, and project owners, and highlight the sector’s potential and the Kingdom’s path to economic growth.
