The Dubai Land Department revealed that real estate broker commissions totaled 1.3 billion dirhams from the beginning of this year through the end of September 2017.  The Land Department stated that real estate brokers earned these commissions following the completion of various types of investment transactions involving land, buildings, and units, with the total value of these transactions amounting to 65.626 billion dirhams.

It revealed that brokers earned 607 million dirhams from land sales totaling 30.368 billion dirhams, while their share from building sales (5.515 billion dirhams) was 110 million dirhams, and their commission reached 595 million dirhams from unit sales, which totaled 29.744 billion dirhams.
